Full Stack Developer (Python, Django, FastAPI, React)

About the role

sudocodelab_new is looking for a freelance Full Stack Developer skilled in Python, Django, FastAPI and React to build and maintain web applications and APIs. You will work on backend services and front-end interfaces that connect to data stores and external systems. The role involves implementing server-side logic, designing and consuming RESTful APIs, and building responsive React-based user interfaces. You will collaborate with other engineers to deliver features, write tests, and maintain code quality. Deliverables include production-ready application code, automated tests, and clear technical documentation. Strong communication and the ability to work within a project-based freelance engagement are important.

Requirements

• Proficient in Python and experience building web applications with Django.
• Experience developing APIs with FastAPI.
• Proficient in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+); comfortable with HTML and CSS.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and implementing authentication/authorization.
• Familiarity with relational databases and ORMs (e.g., Django ORM, SQLAlchemy).
• Comfortable using Git for version control and following branching workflows.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using relevant testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming in Python where applicable (FastAPI).
