About the role
sudocodelab_new is looking for a Senior Java + React Developer to join a remote India-based freelance engagement. The role focuses on designing and implementing Java microservices and front-end components using React while working with event-driven messaging and cloud integrations. You will work with Core Java (JDK 8+), Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration), Kafka and Azure Event Hub, and be responsible for test automation, performance tuning, and integrating internal applications with external hosted systems. The role follows agile practices and uses continuous-integration tools. This engagement requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience operating in high-volume/high-throughput messaging environments, and familiarity with change-management processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Java development experience (JDK 8 or above).
- Expert in Core Spring, Spring Cloud, Spring Boot, and Spring Integration.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and Azure Event Hub.
- Experience with Microservice architecture and Domain Driven Design (DDD).
- Experience writing test automation for regression testing.
- Experience with REST, Java web applications, JMS, JUnit, MQ, XML technologies, XSL transformations, JAXB, and Web Services.
- Experience developing in an agile environment using CI tools: Maven, Bamboo, GitHub, Gradle, and Sonar.
- Strong Oracle SQL experience (working with Oracle databases).
